Oil & Grease Stain Treatment

Oil and grease stains on driveways and concrete are among the hardest stains to fully remove. Unlike dirt, algae, or even rust, oil penetrates deep into the pores of concrete quickly — and the older the stain, the deeper it has set. We treat oil and grease stains using a degreasing solution designed to break down petroleum-based deposits, followed by high-pressure hot water rinsing to extract as much of the stain as possible.

Why We Say Best Effort

We're straightforward with our customers: oil and grease stain removal is not a guaranteed full removal service. The result depends heavily on how long the stain has been there, how porous the concrete is, and how deeply the oil has penetrated. Fresh stains respond significantly better than stains that have been sitting for months or years. In many cases we can dramatically reduce the appearance of the stain — but we won't promise a result we can't guarantee, and we'd rather be upfront about that than leave you with unmet expectations.

What the Treatment Involves

We apply a professional degreaser directly to the affected area and allow it to dwell, drawing the oil up and out of the concrete's surface. The area is then pressure washed with hot water to flush out the loosened deposits. For severe or set-in stains, multiple applications may help, but there are limits to what any surface treatment can achieve on old, deep staining.
